To achieve this we access all active candidate sources; our candidate database (30,000), advertising, online sourcing (Workopolis, industry specific job boards, etc.) and all passive candidate sources (headhunting). Often the right candidate is not actively looking for a new position but sometimes may just be starting to think about a move when we call. We call this the passive candidate.
